Albertville, Minn. ~ Two more rounds of racing and a special year-end bonus payout are coming to the 2023 AMSOIL Championship Off-Road series this year.  Officials announced two additional rounds of racing at this new venue.  An added $85,000 has also been announced to a special year-end bonus points fund for the upcoming 2023 season.

In three short years, Championship Off-Road has grown into the premier off-road, short-course racing series. PRO Classes will finish out their 13-race season with the final two rounds at the MidAmerica Outdoors facility in Jay, Oklahoma on September 23-24.

As the series expands its geographic reach, a new special year-end bonus payout has also been developed to increase the amount of money it pays back to competitors.  “The new year-end bonus fund is a result of our partnership with each of the tracks in the Championship Off Road series” reported Carl Schubitzke.  “Our relationship with each of the tracks we visit is special and they too appreciate our PRO racers, their needs and willingness to travel”

Across all classes in 2022, Champ Off-Road paid out $378,000 in winnings and an additional $78,000 for year end points. This year, the series will include an additional $85,000 to the year-end points fund for the seven pro classes, bringing the total amount paid to competitors over a half million dollars. Beyond putting more money back into the pockets of racers, Champ Off-Road wants the additional money to be an incentive and reward for teams competing the entire season.

“Having more than half-a-million dollars available to our competitors is a testament of our commitment to our teams,” said series President Carl Schubitzke. “Entry fee money has always been turned back over to the teams, and now we have the opportunity to reward them with additional money as we expand the series and showcase the best racers in the world at all of our rounds.”

The 2023 series opens in Antigo, Wis. on June 10-11. It will make two trips to Crandon International Raceway, as well as two-day events at ERX Motor Park, Dirt City, Bark River International Raceway, and the season-ending race in Oklahoma. All AMSOIL Championship Off-Road events will be live streamed on FloRacing.com.
