Bark River, Mich. – Brent Smith is set to make a much-anticipated return to the track this weekend at the legendary Crandon International Raceway. After a two-year hiatus, Smith will be behind the wheel of a Pro Lite truck owned by Holtger Motorsports, competing in Saturday’s World Championship race at “The Big House”.
Smith, who finished an impressive sixth place in his last appearance, is thrilled to be back, particularly at such an iconic venue. “Being under the Holtger tent means the world to me,” said Smith. “At their level, pitting with such an awesome team, I couldn’t ask for a better setup. My circle track guys and my previous off-road team, Randy, Chino, my brother Brock, Austin, and Al, are all here making sure I’m dialed in.”
In addition to racing, Smith is also the voice of Championship Off-Road, making this weekend a double-duty affair as he balances his broadcasting responsibilities with his racing ambitions. “This is a dream come true,” Smith said, “and to be living it out at Crandon, the most revered track in the sport, is an experience I will cherish.”
Smith will be running on Yokohama’s new Geolander AT 4 tires, with Yokohama as his main sponsor. Impact Racing and Blud Lubricants are also key sponsors, supporting Smith’s return to off-road racing.

The final round of AMSOIL Championship Off-Road of Pro and Sportsman racing will be held Saturday, August 31st, at Crandon International Raceway in Crandon, Wis. Winners of Saturday’s race will also be crowned Crandon World Champions.
