Bark River, Mich. ~ For 50 years, Bark River International Raceway has been a proving ground for the best in short-course off-road racing. Built on speed, history and a half-century of competition, the legendary Upper Peninsula track remains a favorite among drivers and fans alike. Its long, fast layout rewards commitment and precision, with massive jumps, high-speed corners and little room for error. In Bark River, everything feels bigger—the air, the crashes, the victories and, with a championship on the line, the swings in points.

AMSOIL Championship Off-Road presented by Brunt Workwear rolls into Bark River, Michigan, with just three weekends remaining in the 2026 season and the intensity continuing to rise. Every position matters. Every mistake is magnified. And on a track where speed and bravery go hand-in-hand, the championship picture can change in a hurry.

The 50th anniversary weekend features three days of racing, with several Sportsman classes completing round eleven on Friday before a full slate of Sportsman and Pro racing takes over Saturday. Under picture-perfect Upper Peninsula skies, the stage was set for a full day of big air, high speeds and high-stakes racing at one of the most iconic stops on the AMSOIL Championship Off-Road calendar.

Johnny Greaves Wins High-Speed Pro 4 Sprint at Bark River

The entire Pro 4 race felt like a sprint, and Johnny Greaves has certainly had his share of spectacular moments at Bark River over the years. Getting around the seven-time champion is never easy on the high-speed circuit, but Greaves had his hands full with Mickey Thomas for much of Saturday’s race before Cole Mamer joined the fight over the final laps.

Greaves grabbed the holeshot with Thomas tucked in behind, and the two ran nose-to-tail as Thomas searched for an opening. It finally came on lap nine when Thomas found his way around Greaves and into the lead. But one lap later, Thomas slowed, putting Greaves back out front and moving Mamer into the runner-up position.

From there, it was a flat-out sprint to the finish. The Hall of Famer kept Mamer behind him and crossed the line eight-tenths of a second ahead to secure his second win of the season. For Mamer, the runner-up finish delivered a much-needed fourth podium of the year. Thomas rallied after losing the lead, holding off the traffic behind him to finish third and round out the Pro 4 podium.

Beat Breaks Away at Bark River for Much Needed Win

Defending champion Kyle Greaves was slinging full roost at the start of Saturday’s Pro 2 race, and Ryan Beat, running second, caught most of it. But before the opening lap was complete, Greaves got too far into the deep stuff and pushed wide, opening the door for Beat to take over the lead.

From there, Beat went to work building a gap as Ricky Gutierrez and Johnny Holtger battled behind him. With the fight for the podium intensifying, Beat continued to stretch his advantage and pulled away late to earn his first win since round five at Crandon.

Behind him, it turned into a three-way fight for the final two podium spots between Holtger, Greaves and Gutierrez. In the late-race scramble, Gutierrez spun and collected Greaves, allowing Holtger to lock down the runner-up spot. Gutierrez was quick to rejoin the race and recovered to cross the line in third.

Barry Builds Pro Lite Points Lead with Bark River Win

Matt Wood came into Bark River searching for his third win of the season and second straight, but Connor Barry had a championship lead to protect—and extend. Wood was strong out front early, but on lap four, Barry got on the throttle and powered his way past for the lead. From there, the points leader stayed in control, driving to his first victory since the spring Crandon weekend.

Wood didn’t give up much ground in the championship fight, holding onto second to earn his second straight podium finish. Behind the lead pair, attrition took its toll throughout the field, and Joey Maciosek came out on top of the remaining battle to secure the final podium spot in third.

Visser Gets Second Straight Pro Spec Win

Avery Hemmer grabbed the early lead in Saturday’s Pro Spec showdown at Bark River, but a flat rear tire forced her into the hot pits and opened the door for points leader Chris Van Den Elzen. Van Den Elzen inherited the top spot with Nick Visser glued to his rear bumper, setting up a fight for the lead as the race moved into its second half.

The two went door-to-door on lap seven before Van Den Elzen caught a rut, giving Visser the opportunity to put a bump pass on the points leader and take control. The contact shuffled Van Den Elzen back to sixth, while Visser didn’t miss a beat once he found clean air. He stayed out front through the finish to secure his second straight win.

Behind him, Dylan Parsons held the runner-up position with Braden Beauchamp keeping the pressure on. The battle came down to the final turn, where Parsons slowed just enough for Beauchamp to sling past and steal second at the line. Parsons was able to keep enough momentum to cross the stripe in third and complete the Pro Spec podium.

Steinhardt Returns to the Top with Bark River Pro Buggy Win

It has been common over the years to see Mark Steinhardt’s name atop the results, but this season hasn’t gone to script for the past Pro Buggy champion. At Bark River, Steinhardt looked right at home on the big, fast track, taking control from the start and holding off a late charge from the points leader to earn his first win of the season.

Steinhardt led from start to finish, but Cole Bernloehr was coming fast late in the race. Bernloehr moved into second when Michael Meister dropped off the pace and quickly began closing the gap to the leader. He ran out of laps, crossing the line just a half-second behind Steinhardt in the runner-up spot.

Beau Ambrose took advantage of the late shuffle to move into third, matching his best finish of the season and rounding out the Pro Buggy podium.

Bootle Holds Off Greaves in Pro SxS Bark River Battle

The racing reaches another level when Jeb Bootle and CJ Greaves are out front and dicing for position, and that made for a great Pro SxS contest at Bark River. Bootle grabbed the holeshot with Greaves in tow, and the two spent the entire race searching for an advantage. They were never separated by much as they ran one-two from start to finish, with Bootle holding off Greaves by just 0.333 seconds at the line.

The victory continued an impressive run for Bootle, marking his sixth straight podium—a stretch that includes three wins—as he extended his championship lead. Greaves continued to find consistency down the stretch, earning his second straight podium with the runner-up finish.

Nathan Wolff moved up one position into third on lap five and held the spot through the finish, securing his sixth podium of the season.

Bootle Stays Red Hot with Fourth Pro Stock SxS Win

Brody Sands has been building momentum as the season heads down the stretch. After leading several laps in round nine, Sands was back out front in round eleven at Bark River, setting the pace early as he looked to turn that speed into a win.

But Jeb Bootle has been a rocket ship of late. Bootle tracked down Sands and found his way around on lap four. Once in front, he put the hammer down and pulled away from the field, driving to his fourth win of the season.

Sands kept control of the runner-up spot throughout the second half of the race, but had his hands full with Collin Truett closing in behind him. Sands held off Truett by just four-tenths of a second at the line to secure his second straight podium, with Truett finishing close behind in third.

PRO AM SxS: Points leader Code St. Peter has controlled the Pro AM SxS class throughout the season, and Saturday at Bark River was no different. St. Peter slipped around John Kummer for the lead on lap three and pulled away from the field, earning a class-leading ninth win of the year.

Round two winner Carson Hill moved into second on lap four and stayed there, picking up his third podium in the past four races. Matthew Boerschinger crossed the line in third to round out the podium, earning his second podium finish of the season.

PRO AM TURBO SxS:

FRIDAY

Rory Navin continued his personal hot streak on Saturday, staying aggressive early before finding his opportunity to take the lead from Seth Lockstein on lap four. Once out front, Navin pulled away to secure his second win of the weekend and complete the Bark River sweep.

Collin Greenfield made his move into a podium position on lap five and kept pushing forward to secure the runner-up spot. Greenfield held off Rusty Pipes on the final lap, crossing the line just eight-tenths of a second ahead to finish second.

SATURDAY

Rory Navin continued his personal hot streak on Saturday, staying aggressive early before finding his opportunity to take the lead from Seth Lockstein on lap four. Once out front, Navin pulled away to secure the weekend sweep and his third straight win at Bark River.

Collin Greenfield made his move up the podium order on lap five, then held off Rusty Pipes on the final lap by eight-tenths of a second to secure the runner-up spot.

SUPER STOCK TRUCK: Nick Byng’s title defense has been a roller-coaster, but after 11 rounds, the defending champion has found his way back atop the leaderboard. Brad Barglind led from the start, but on the final lap, Byng made his move and worked his way around for his first victory since sweeping the opening weekend of the season.

Barglind held on for second and his fourth podium finish of the year. Scott Boulanger entered the weekend with the points lead and was running third with two laps remaining before dropping out of the race. That opened the door for Matt Pyburn, who charged all the way from 15th to claim the final podium spot.

STOCK TRUCK

FRIDAY

Colt Wierzba is on the hunt for points leader Dustin Rogaczewski, and he did his part to close the gap on Friday at Bark River. Wierzba took over the lead on the first full lap and was on point from there, racing to his fifth win of the season.

Rogaczewski minimized the damage, moving into the runner-up spot on lap five and keeping control of the championship standings. Tyler Mullins charged forward from seventh, working his way through traffic before slipping into third with three laps remaining to secure the final podium spot.

SATURDAY

Rookie Keegan Kemp had found the podium twice already in 2026, but on Saturday he took the next step. Kemp was on point from start to finish, controlling the race out front before holding off Tyler Hoffman by just 0.363 seconds at the line to secure his first career Stock Truck win.

Hoffman applied pressure early, locking down the runner-up spot on lap three and staying on Kemp’s bumper through the finish for his seventh podium of the season. Behind them, Friday winner Colt Wierzba charged all the way from 15th, moving around Scott Boulanger with two laps to go and holding off Dustin Rogaczewski at the line, finishing just 0.633 seconds behind Kemp in third.

Wierzba’s comeback also had major championship implications, pulling him to within a single point of leader Rogaczewski with just one Sportsman weekend remaining at Crandon over Labor Day weekend.

1600 LIGHT BUGGY

FRIDAY

Round eight winner Eric LaFreniere was looking for his second win of the season after taking over the lead on lap four, but points leader Evan Hockers was steadily charging forward from his seventh-place starting spot. With two laps to go, Hockers tracked down LaFreniere and made the pass for the lead, driving away to his second straight win.

LaFreniere held firm in second, while Johnny Pyburn put together a charge of his own from ninth. Pyburn worked his way through the field before making a last-lap pass on Adam Heikkila to secure the final podium spot.

SATURDAY

Points leader Evan Hockers was patient through the first half of Saturday’s race before making his move following the mid-race restart. Once out front, Hockers again took control and never looked back, completing the Bark River weekend sweep and extending his winning streak to three straight.

Steve Hockers was holding down second with two laps remaining before giving up the position, opening the door for Aiden Wandahsega to move from fourth to second and secure his third podium of the season. Jake Dischler moved into third at the midpoint and followed Wandahsega across the line to round out the podium.

1600 SINGLE BUGGY: The top three in points went head-to-head Saturday at Bark River, and Michael Seefeldt put together a vintage drive. Sitting third in the championship, Seefeldt took over the lead on lap two and held off every challenge from there to secure his second win of the season.

Points leader Connor Schulz had his work cut out for him after finding himself buried in 14th early in the race. Schulz methodically worked his way through the field and, with two laps remaining, moved into the runner-up spot behind Seefeldt. Taylor Roloff finished third and now sits 30 points behind Schulz as the championship heads toward the Sportsman finale at Crandon.

RACE-DRIVEN SPORTSMAN SXS:

FRIDAY SPORTSMAN SxS:

Points leader Chad Emling added some breathing room atop the Sportsman SxS standings with his fourth win of the season. Emling bolted around Jaxson Cleereman on lap three and took control, but Raymond Deininger kept the pressure on all the way to the final turns. Emling held his ground to take the win, with Deininger crossing the line just 0.381 seconds back for his third straight podium finish.

Erik Hill made a charge of his own after starting eighth, working his way into third shortly after the mid-race restart. Hill then held off Dakota Atkins by just 0.31 seconds at the line to secure third and his fourth podium of the season.

SATURDAY SPORTSMAN SxS:

The mid-pack battle provided plenty of action to start Saturday at Bark River, but out front, Jaxson Cleereman was in complete control. Cleereman went wire-to-wire to pick up the first win of his career.

Round five winner Colin Greenfield followed Cleereman throughout, starting and finishing second to earn his first podium since that victory. Raymond Deininger supplied the charge of the race, weaving his way forward from tenth before making a last-lap pass on Zack Wirhanowicz to grab the final podium spot and extend his podium streak to four straight races.

YOUTH SxS: Alexander Walraven is putting it all together down the stretch of the season. Walraven worked his way through early traffic before tracking down Ava Plummer and taking over the lead on lap six. From there, he stayed out front to secure his second straight win.

Plummer broke through with her first podium of the season, finishing second. Easton Helms rounded out the podium in third and tightened up the championship battle in the process. Helms now sits third overall, just two points behind leader William Holtger and one point behind second-place Peyton Weisbrod.

MOD KART

FRIDAY

Wesley Vande Voort was in control for much of Friday’s Mod Kart race, but Lincoln Mandsager stayed within striking distance before finding his way around on lap seven. Once out front, the points leader kept the field behind him to earn his second straight win.

Corbyn Wassenberg kept pace in the championship chase, finishing second for his fifth straight podium. Carter Zahara stayed with the lead group throughout the race and crossed the line third, earning his third podium of the season.

SATURDAY

Points leader Lincoln Mandsager made his move from fourth to first on lap seven and took control from there, driving to the weekend sweep and continuing his late-season winning streak.

Behind Mandsager, the battle for the remaining podium spots came down to the line. Collin Paitl edged Camden Paitl by just 0.001 seconds to secure second and his third podium of the season, while Camden finished third for his second podium of the year.

SHORT COURSE KARTS: It’s shaping up to be a battle down to the final laps of the Short Course Kart season, with the top three in points all in the mix Saturday at Bark River. Miles Pakenham moved into the lead on lap four and took control from there, driving convincingly to his third straight win.

Roman Tullberg overcame a tenth-place start, jumping from fifth to third on lap four before working his way into the runner-up spot. His fourth straight podium moved him closer to points leader Jarrett Meulemans, who made a last-lap pass and held off Axel Keepers to secure third and valuable championship points.

170 SxS: Jersey Kleikamp has been one of the best racers across the second half of the season, and she continued to find her way to the front at Bark River. Kleikamp moved from third to first on lap three and stayed there, driving to her second win in the past three rounds.

Kalvin Wagoner put together a charge from deep in the field, climbing from 13th before getting around Rhett White with two laps remaining to secure his second podium of the season. White held on for third and inched closer to points leader Wesley Nickolaus in the championship chase, cutting the gap to just 18 points with the Sportsman finale at Crandon remaining.

200 SxS: The streak continues. Gaborik Geyen keeps ticking off wins as the season winds down toward the Sportsman finale at Crandon. Geyen grabbed the lead on lap three and stayed in control from there, racing to his fifth straight victory while keeping his season-long podium streak intact.

Knox Lafferty led early before settling into the runner-up spot, earning his second podium in the past three races. Finley Pence moved into third with three laps remaining and held on for his second straight podium finish.

570 SxS: It was a close race throughout and an even tighter finish for the top three in 570 SxS. Tucker Pakenham and William Holtger were locked in a battle early, but Miles Pakenham kept pushing and put himself in position to strike. With two laps to go, Miles worked his way around Tucker to take over the top spot.

Miles held off Tucker by just four-tenths of a second at the line to secure his second straight win. Points leader Holtger was right there as well, finishing just seven-tenths behind the winner in third as the top three crossed the line separated by less than a second.
