Champ Brings Short Course to PRI

Dec 21, 2024

The AMSOIL Championship Off-Road Tour concluded a highly successful three-day run at the 2024 Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show, held December 12-14 in Indianapolis. The event was dynamic and interactive, connecting the series with thousands of motorsports professionals, fans, and industry leaders.

The response was overwhelming, with new partnerships, exciting collaborations, and a renewed enthusiasm for the future of off-road racing emerging from the event. The PRI Show also served as a key opportunity to highlight AMSOIL’s continued support for the growth of off-road motorsports, leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved.

The Champ Off-Road booth featured a video monitor that showcased highlights from the Long Haul Production team alongside premier off-road racing content creators. Additionally, posters, decals, and race schedules were distributed, giving attendees a better understanding of the AMSOIL Championship Off-Road Tour.

The booth was well-staffed to answer all questions, thanks to media director Amanda Morris, event announcer and OPS specialist Nolan Castellion, relations director Mike Reusche, and Champ president Carl Schubitzke. The team also participated in podcasts, including “The Skinny” with insiders Rico Elmore and Ken Stout, The Impulse Show, and an interview with the digital media outlet Dirt Sports World.

On the final day, Mike Reusche participated in a 90-minute roundtable organized by PRI to discuss the growth of the off-road segment at upcoming shows. “This was the first roundtable designed exclusively for off-road track operators, promoters, and sanctioning organizations,” Reusche remarked. “In addition to building a greater industry presence at PRI, we are committed to collaborating on shared concerns affecting various areas of the off-road community, and we welcome others to join.”

Over eighty Champ Off-Road competitors stopped for some bench racing among the steady waves of show attendees. “Having a booth at the PRI show puts our commitment to the sport on display,” remarked Champ president Carl Schubitzke. “This opportunity allowed Champ to connect with current and future racers and created discussions with marketing partners that wouldn’t happen in past off-seasons.”

Three companies at the PRI showcased Champ Off-Road competitors: the Mod Kart of Wesley Vande Voort, the PRO4 truck of Justin Wills, and the PRO2 truck of Ryan Beat. The trucks highlighted the series and their sponsors, providing the motorsports community with an in-depth look at the intricacies of these vehicles.

Championship Off-Road expresses gratitude to everyone who attended the PRI Show, particularly the short-course community, whose ongoing growth is capturing the interest of other motorsport sectors.
