Champ Off-Road and Glen Helen Raceway Announce Date Change to Fall Finale
AMSOIL Championship Off-Road, presented by BRUNT Workwear, brought the roar of national short-course off-road racing back to the West Coast in grand fashion last season.
A packed house welcomed the world’s best short-course athletes to Glen Helen Raceway and the San Bernardino Valley last September, capping off a thrilling season with fast-paced, door-to-door action.
The series and event promoters are excited to bring that hard-charging action back to one of the nation’s largest off-road racing communities. As the season is set to kick off May 1–3 in Wheatland, Mo., series officials have worked with the race promoters at Glen Helen to expand the presence of the season finale, moving the previously scheduled date from September 25–26 back one week to October 2-3. The shift creates an opportunity for the series to align with a new partner and explore the addition of athletes from across multiple disciplines of motorsports, building on an event that stood out as a highlight of the 2025 season.

“We have been presented an opportunity that will allow off-road to broaden its reach to new audiences and bring in new fans, sponsors, and athletes to our series and our sport,” said Carl Schubitzke. “The group at Glen Helen has been a great partner in working on the new date and helping Champ Off-Road deliver world-class racing in our season finale.
We understand scheduling has already begun for our teams and fans, and we appreciate the on-going support as we make Glen Helen one for the ages.”
With more information expected in the coming weeks, AMSOIL Championship Off-Road is set to kick off its eight-weekend, 15-round season in May at the Show-Me Off-Road Shootout at Lucas Oil Speedway. Traditional stops include Dirt City Motorplex, ERX Motor Park, Langlade County Motorplex, and two trips to Crandon, Wis., including the annual Polaris World Championship on Labor Day weekend. The season will also feature the 50th anniversary of Bark River International Raceway in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula in August, before concluding in California.
