Champ Off-Road Secures 3-Year Deal with Lena Motorsport Club for Annual Dirt City Off-Road National
Championship Off-Road is thrilled to announce a three-year contract with the Lena Motorsport Club to host the annual Dirt City Off-Road National through the 2027 season. The one-mile-long short-course layout consistently brings out some of the closest wheel-to-wheel competition on the AMSOIL Championship Off-Road Tour.
The 2025 edition of the AMSOIL Championship Off-Road Tour at Dirt City will take place on July 26-27. Both PRO and Sportsman short-course competitors will participate in two crucial mid-season rounds of racing.
Since its inception in 2019, the race event has rapidly gained popularity among fans and has become an integral part of the community. The event has seen a significant increase in spectator numbers each year, and the biggest party of the race season happens as the town of Lena welcomes racers and their vehicles to Thunder on Main, a “meet and greet” right on Main Street Friday night. The night is filled with hundreds of racers and thousands of fans coming together for an unforgettable experience of autographs, photos, and fun.
“The Champ Off-Road race has a significant economic impact on our area,” noted club president Troy Schaden. “The community comes together to ensure the event is a success; we are very proud of that, and all the volunteers that make it happen.”
Like other stops on the AMSOIL Championship Off-Road Tour, Lena Motorsports Club contributes to the community by donating to local groups volunteering at the track.
The racers look forward to competing on the track, as the layout is designed to benefit competitors who can skillfully maintain momentum through its wide turns, allowing for close competitive racing. It is a genuinely demanding track that tests the driver’s abilities.
