Known as the "Big House" of off-road racing, Crandon has become a rite of passage for off-road racers and a bucket-list event for fans.
The Forest County Powatomi Brush Run, a beloved annual tradition at Crandon since the early 1970s, captures the rugged spirit and legacy of Midwest off-road racing. Originally organized as a local competition by the Crandon Lions Club, the Brush Run has evolved into a cornerstone of the racing calendar, attracting elite racers and fans from around the globe. In June, the event’s unique “mid-track” layout is utilized for many classes, emphasizing tight, high-skill racing in closer quarters. This shortened track layout not only showcases driver skill and precision but also brings fans closer to the action, creating an intense, up-close racing experience.
