Robert Stout Makes PRO4 Debut

Jun 17, 2024

3 X National Champion Robert Stout makes his debut at Crandon International Raceway with the Champ Off Road series behind the wheel of the #28 Cenni Motorsports prepared Yawpower Off-road and Tubeworks supported PRO4 Truck!

Stout has plenty of racing experience winning the Production 1000 Side x Side Rookie of the Year in 2018 and the Championship in 2019 on the strength of 7 Poles, 6 Podiums and 7 top 5’s in 9 starts but this is his first attempt behind the wheel of a 950 HP PRO4 truck!

He has been competing in Robby Gordon’s Stadium Super Truck series where he’s earned 1 Pole, 2 Wins, 7 podiums and 14 Top 5’s in 18 starts.

His day job is lead driving instructor of the BMW Performance center at the Thermal club in CA. Stout is a seasoned Sports car veteran competing in the Grand Am series, SRO World Challenge and the Mazda MX-5 Cup series and has secured over 35 Poles and 40 wins to earn 2 National Championships along the way!

“This is a dream come true”, said Stout! “I’ve been watching short course my entire life and have always dreamed of competing against the best in PRO4! I have to thank Adrian Cenni for the opportunity! He opened the door for us and we dug in! We won the 2019 Production 1000 Championship with the help of Paul Yaw and Yawpower Off-Road and we couldn’t be happier that he’s still with us! My dad (Ken Stout) has been in the game for 20 years and had a relationship with Jayson Miles of Tubeworks, they make incredible and much needed parts for this industry! They choose us to help spread the word and we couldn’t be more grateful!!”

“I hate that Kyle LeDuc and Rick Huseman are no longer with us and that Carl Renezeder has retired, I always pictured competing with them in the field but the PRO4 class is still extremely strong and getting stronger! I have mad respect for all the players in the class and can’t wait to see where I stack up. We squeezed in one day of testing, these things are absolute monsters to drive and turn one at Crandon over 100 MPH is everything I thought it would be! Now we just need to add 10 more trucks and it will be a party!!”

Stout, along with the rest of the Pro-4 field and competitors of the Champ Off Road series will be on full display at “The Big House” Crandon International Raceway for rounds 5 and 6 on June 21st to the 23rd!
