Sportsman Spotlight: TJ Ewert #520
This Seymour, Wisconsin native drives the #520 Chevrolet in the Stock Truck class. He made his Stock Truck debut midway through the 2018 season, and he scored his first career Top-5 finish at Crandon that Labor Day Weekend.
The following season at Fall Crandon, during the 50th Annual World Championship Off-Road Races, Ewert recorded his first career podium in the class behind Cory Marquardt and Don Demeny. 2020 saw Ewert have his breakout season, finishing on the podium four times including his first three race wins at Dirt City, ERX, and Crandon en route to a 5th place points finish.
TJ carried that success into 2021; finishing 3rd in points, collecting five more podiums and three more wins along the way, including a weekend sweep at Bark River.
Ewert nearly mirrored that last season with five podiums, two wins, and another 3rd place points finish. Antigo is the only track on the Sportsman schedule at which Ewert has yet to take a win, so look for him to change that this weekend as he begins his pursuit of his first career Stock Truck championship.
The 2023 AMSOIL Championship Off-Road presented by the U.S. Air Force campaign commences June 10-11 in Antigo, WI for the Antigo Off-Road National. Click here for event information.
